Incorporating Music into the Academic Classroom
Participants will explore ways to incorporate the aesthetic response to learning through integrating music with elementary-level classroom studies.
Using music to enhance children’s literature, language arts objectives, science concepts, math facts and functions, and social studies are only a few of the potential topics for this Playful-shop. This activity-based, hands-on session can be tailored to meet the needs of many different academic groups, including Reading Teachers, elementary Classroom Teachers, and other Specialty-area Teachers who want to use music as a “window” to view a variety of classroom concepts and objectives.
